Thailand has been part of my life for years.

I’m David Rively, the host behind My Thailand Excursion. I have returned to Thailand many times over the years—not simply as a visitor, but as someone who loves learning the country, building local relationships, and finding the experiences that make a trip feel personal. I'm also an animal lover through and through, which is part of why the elephants keep pulling me back.

I created these trips because I know how much work it takes to turn “we should all travel together” into a real, well-organized experience. I personally shape the itinerary, coordinate the details, and stay involved throughout the journey so guests can focus on enjoying Thailand and one another.

Whether I’m hosting one of my scheduled small-group adventures or creating a private trip for a family, club, reunion, congregation, or circle of friends, my goal is the same: a welcoming, thoughtfully planned experience filled with places and moments worth remembering.
