Thank you for your interest in Thailand 2027. Please read this policy carefully before making your reservation. By submitting a deposit you agree to the terms outlined below.
A non-refundable deposit of $2,000 per person is required to reserve your space. Your reservation is not confirmed until your deposit has been received. Space is strictly limited to 16 guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
All deposits are non-refundable. Your $2,000 deposit is applied immediately toward hotel reservations, transportation, and activities booked specifically for this trip, which is why it can't be returned once submitted. If your plans change, transferring your spot to a friend or family member is always an option. See Transferring Your Spot below. We also strongly recommend travel insurance for added peace of mind.
Final payment is due no later than December 1, 2026. Failure to submit final payment by this date may result in forfeiture of your reservation and deposit.
If you need to cancel your reservation after your deposit has been submitted:
- If you cancel before final payment, your deposit is forfeited. No additional charges will apply.
- If you cancel after full payment has been made, you will receive a cash refund of $1,250 per person, provided your spot is not transferred to a replacement guest. This reflects the non-recoverable costs already committed on your behalf for hotels, activities, and transportation.
If you are unable to travel after final payment has been made, you may transfer your spot to a family member or friend instead of canceling. A $1,000 transfer fee applies, which covers the cost of rebooking items reserved in your name that cannot be changed without a fee, such as internal domestic flights within Thailand. Once a replacement guest is confirmed and the transfer fee is paid, no further refund is issued to the original guest, as their full payment has effectively been reassigned.
David Rively reserves the right to cancel the trip for any reason prior to departure. In the event of a host-initiated cancellation, a full refund of all payments received will be issued to each guest within 30 days.
We strongly encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance as soon as their deposit is made. Travel insurance is your best protection in the event of unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, or travel interruptions. The cost of this trip is non-refundable and travel insurance is the only way to recover your investment if circumstances change.
