About This Trip

Thailand 2027 is a privately organized group trip running from February 15 through March 1, 2027, visiting Bangkok and Phuket, Thailand. It is organized and administered by David Rively (referred to herein as "the Organizer").

Not a Travel Agency

The Organizer is a private individual facilitating a group trip and are not a licensed travel agency, tour operator, or travel service provider. All third-party services including hotels, domestic flights, transportation, tours, and activities are arranged on behalf of the group as a courtesy and are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective third-party providers.

Assumption of Risk

I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge that international travel involves inherent risks that cannot be fully anticipated or controlled. I voluntarily accept and assume all risks associated with participation in Thailand 2027, including but not limited to:

• Personal injury, illness, or death
• Loss or damage to personal property
• Transportation delays, cancellations, or failures
• Acts of God, weather events, or natural disasters
• Civil unrest, political instability, or unforeseen local conditions
• Exposure to illness or communicable disease
• Accidents or injuries during activities, tours, or excursions
• Theft or loss of personal belongings
• Encounters with local wildlife, insects, or environmental hazards
• Medical emergencies in locations with limited access to facilities
• Actions or omissions of third-party service providers

Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in Thailand 2027, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and agree to hold harmless David Rively and his associates, staff, contractors, and agents (collectively the "Releasees") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may be sustained by me during or in connection with my participation in this trip.

This release includes claims arising from the negligence of the Releasees, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any loss, liability, damage, or cost they may incur arising from my participation in Thailand 2027, including any damage or injury I may cause to myself, other guests, third parties, or property.

Third-Party Providers

The Organizer is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or negligence of any hotel, airline, transportation company, tour operator, activity provider, or any other third-party service provider engaged in connection with this trip. Any claims arising from third-party services must be directed to the relevant provider.

Medical Acknowledgment

This trip includes walking tours, boat excursions, and other moderately active experiences. I confirm that I am in reasonably good physical health and condition to participate in these activities, and that I do not have any physical, psychological, or medical condition that would prevent me from safely participating in international group travel. I understand that it is my sole responsibility to consult with my physician prior to the trip regarding any health concerns, including whether I am fit enough to participate in the activities described above. I confirm that I have adequate health insurance to cover the costs of medical treatment in the event of any injury or illness while traveling.

Travel Advisories

I am solely responsible for reviewing current U.S. Department of State travel advisories and CDC health recommendations for Thailand prior to departure, and for making my own informed decision about whether to travel. The Organizer does not monitor or provide updates on travel advisories and is not responsible for changes in government guidance before or during the trip.

Photo & Media Release

I grant David Rively and Thailand 2027 permission to photograph and record me during this trip and to use those photos and videos in future marketing materials, including but not limited to the website, social media, and promotional materials for future trips. I understand I will not receive compensation for this use. Guests who prefer not to be included in marketing materials may notify David Rively in writing prior to departure.

Code of Conduct

I agree to comply with the Code of Conduct as outlined in the Terms of Service for Thailand 2027. I understand that any behavior deemed disruptive, disrespectful, illegal, or harmful to myself or other guests may result in my immediate removal from the trip without refund.

Travel Insurance

I understand that travel insurance is strongly recommended and acknowledge that the Organizer has encouraged me to purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to departure. I accept that in the absence of travel insurance, I assume full financial responsibility for any costs arising from cancellation, medical emergencies, or travel interruptions.

Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from this agreement or from participation in Thailand 2027 shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I agree to pay any attorney fees or costs incurred by the Organizer in enforcing this agreement.

Severability

If any portion of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
